At 17, I stepped into a professional ice hockey dressing room. Twenty-five alpha males, none of them waiting for me. No one hands you space in that environment. You earn it — through authenticity, through performance, through knowing when to lead and when to listen.

I carried that into every leadership role that followed. Two decades across Europe and Asia. And one hard lesson along the way: that driving yourself without taking care of yourself is not ambition. It is self-destruction.

I broke. Rebuilt. And became the best version of myself I have ever been — professionally and personally. What came out the other side was a conviction: that real performance starts with the whole person. Mindset. Body. Recovery. Focus.
